Your First Visit to Our El Dorado Hills Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

Make Yourself at Home

You’ll find plenty of convenient parking and a well-lit parking lot. You’ll be greeted by name when you enter our office and given a short tour to get you acquainted with our facilities.

Before you meet with Dr. Doug Murray, you’ll have the opportunity to indicate your condition by answering some questions.  Please bring your insurance card so we can verify your coverage.  Dr. Murray has recently upgraded his insurance provider profile.  If you do not see his name on your provider list yet, please ask us.

We Explain Everything First

The purpose of your consultation with the doctor is to discuss your condition and see if chiropractic is likely to help you. If it looks promising, a thorough examination, including the Spinal Joint Mobility Scan, will help identify the cause of your problem. Patients appreciate that we explain everything in advance!

If your examination findings are positive, you’ll be giving a baseline treatment and home instructions.  Please allow about an hour for your first visit.

Dr. Doug Asks some important questions of interest to El Dorado Hills residents - Chiropractor El Dorado Hills Dr. Doug Asks...

How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
Why are chiropractors wary of the germ theory?
Louis Pasteur originated the idea that germs caused disease. Yet, on his deathbed he recanted, declaring, "It's not the seed, but the soil." Meaning, it's not the germ that causes disease, but the condition of the body that allows the germ to thrive. Chiropractic care in our El Dorado Hills office is designed to bolster your resistance so germs don't see you as a good host.
